Frequently Asked Questions
Please try to finish all Fall Season 2026 games by December 1st.
The Florida Girls League is the result of a collaborative partnership among Elite Development Program Florida (EDP), Greater Central Florida (GCF), Greater Hollywood Soccer League (GHSL), I10 League in Panhandle, South Florida Premier League (SFPL), The Florida League (TFL), and United Soccer Association (USA). Together, these organizations have aligned to create a more connected and consistent competitive environment for female athletes across the state.
Operating through regional divisions administered by each local league, FGL combines statewide alignment with trusted local league services. Beginning this season, girls teams that previously participated across FYSA’s competitive league structure will compete within a single unified platform, providing enhanced competition opportunities and participant experiences.

We are interested in offering this if it helps to form teams and divisions. Ultimately, it's on clubs to show interest. Contact us if you are ready to do this.
YES, of course.
Under current 25/26 system teams sometimes drove past 3 other clubs to play a team in their league. By having only one girls league we anticipate less travel.High division teams and teams that advance to playoffs should expect the same amount of travel as before. Season ending event in Auburndale is planned, but only for best teams in the State. More info to follow.
US Soccer does not recognize COED teams.
A team with even one boy on a roster is a Boys Team.
Teams with only girls are welcome to declare in FGL.
